Environment contributes to depression

”I prefer Canada depression”- Nigerians tell man who said living alone in Canada as an immigrant can be depressing.

Nigerians on Twitter has responded to a Tweet from a Nigerian man, Tunde Omotoye, who resides in Canada.

According to the man, residing alone in Canada as an immigrant can be depressing especially during winter.

He tweeted; “Living alone in Canada as an immigrant can be depressing. It’s different here. I have been there before. Especially during winter.

Although, as your network grows/when family joins, things get better.”

However, many Nigerians disagreed with him saying they prefer being depressed outside Nigeria than to be depressed in the country.

While some Nigerians in the diaspora agreed with him as they shared their different experience.
